GCA HR Webinar Thursday 7th December 9.30am.
We will be holding the above Webinar, chaired by Tammy Woodhouse, and aimed at HR departments and retail departmental managers, but all are welcome and it is completely free of charge.
The main focus will be two hotly debated topics in recent times; Recruitment and Retention. We have both Tracey Bowler HR Director from Millbrook and Jo Ripley HR manager of Squires, who will share their recent experiences and any ideas they have to overcome the current challenges. In addition, we will hear from the main two players in horticultural recruitment; Sarah Want of More People, who have recently published a survey on staff benefits and retention of employees and Ruth Bolam of Horticruitment who have conducted a survey on what people like to see in a job advert, and what attracts people to apply. Both will also be able to help with any recruitment trends or tips to find and keep the right people. There will be an opportunity for attendees to share their stories, ideas or questions. If there is time at the end, we also thought it would be good to share any recent general HR experiences or learnings with each other. The expectation is that this will last for no more than 90 minutes.
